Our commitment

Making sure people with disabilities can use a website isn’t an extra for us — it’s one of the things we do for our clients. So we make sure this website lives up to it too.

What this means in practice

  • You can use the whole site with just a keyboard, no mouse needed
  • It works with screen readers that read the page aloud
  • Text is large and has strong contrast so it’s easy to read
  • Every button and link clearly says what it does
  • Animations calm down if your device asks them to

The standard we follow

This website is built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. While federal regulations like the Accessible Canada Act (ACA) currently bind public-sector organizations and federally regulated industries, ensuring accessibility is a best practice that reduces legal risks under the BC Human Rights Code and satisfies requirements for public-sector procurement. Our interactive elements, including the compliance clock and the live agent demo, are designed to support keyboard control, screen readers, and respects user reduced-motion preferences.

Accessibility features in place

  • Keyboard Navigation: All links, buttons, forms, and interactive widgets can be fully navigated using standard keyboard controls.
  • Semantic Markup: Proper HTML5 landmark structures and heading hierarchies allow assistive technologies to parse content correctly.
  • Skip Links: A "Skip to main content" link is available to bypass layout headers.
  • Visual Contrast: Text and visual cues maintain a contrast ratio exceeding 4.5:1 for readability.
