How it works · The Context Pack

Everything your business knows, written down once.

Most of what makes a business work sits in two or three people’s heads. That’s fine until you hire a supplier, onboard a new starter, or switch on an AI tool — and then all three fail for exactly the same reason. The Context Pack is that knowledge, written down once, kept current, and handed to whoever needs it.

What goes into a Context Pack and who uses it Five kinds of business knowledge on the left are consolidated into the Context Pack in the middle, which is then used by suppliers, staff and AI tools on the right. What You Make
The products, the specifications, and — the part that never gets written down — why yours is different from the cheaper one next to it. Suppliers cannot sell a distinction nobody has explained to them.
How You Sound
The words you use, the words you never use, and how formal you are. This is the single most common cause of off-brand work coming back from an agency or a chatbot, and it takes about a page to fix permanently.
Who Buys
Who your good customers actually are, in enough detail to be useful — and just as importantly, who you would rather not attract. Most vendors are never told the second half, so they optimise for volume.
What You Sell
Current offers, pricing, what’s negotiable and what isn’t, and which lines you actually want moved this quarter. Otherwise every supplier pushes whatever is easiest to push.
Your Rules
The edge cases and the limits: what needs approval, what gets escalated, and to whom. This is the part that lives entirely in one long-serving employee’s head, and it is the part that costs the most when they’re on holiday.
The Context Pack
One document, in one place, that we write with you and then keep current — because a pack that goes stale is worse than none, since people keep trusting it. Updating it is part of the monthly work, not a separate project.
Your Suppliers
Every supplier gets it on day one and gets the updates. It is what makes the difference between an agency billing for activity and an agency billing for outcomes. See how we hold them to it →
Your Team
New starters stop learning the business by interrupting whoever is nearest. The same pack answers the questions, and the answers don’t vary depending on who was asked.
Your AI Tools
This is the part most businesses have backwards. You are probably already paying for AI — in Microsoft 365, in your website chat widget, in your helpdesk. It underperforms not because the model is weak but because it knows nothing about you. Structured, current context is the entire difference between a chatbot that deflects customers and one that closes them. The same document, no extra work

It isn’t a separate product

The Context Pack is built as part of Get What You’re Paying For, Make Your Tools Work and taking more than one service — because all three fail without it. We don’t sell it on its own, and we don’t charge for it twice.

If you only want the pack — written, structured and handed over, with no ongoing work — say so and we’ll quote it as a one-off project. It’s yours either way; there is no version of this where we hold your own business knowledge hostage.

A conversation costs nothing, and you’ll get an honest answer about whether we’re the right people for it. If we are, you get a plan in writing before you commit to anything.
